Skook and BC

I got the chance to head up to Canada with Scott Baker and do some epic playing and a little bit of creek boating... All I can say is that I will be up there agian next year to hit up some of the harder creeks...

Here are some Pics from Skook, hiking to the wave, and camping around the area... Its a sweet wave and a amazing area...

To get to the Skook Rapids you have to hike an hour through the forest to get there. Lets just say after 5 hours of playing on the wave, the hour hike out is a lot of work...

Next few pictures are of the Upper Cheakamus River... We didnt get much footage of this part because it was only class 4 warm-up for us...

The Next day we went and ran one of the Epic Classic Runs in BC called Callaghan Creek. We caught up with some guys in the area and run this section with them...

This a Must boof 15 footer with the line right next to the log... Was a sweet drop but didnt get any footage going off the drop... We all ran it except for John, Who has done it before...

Next up for the list of falls is the must run 30 footer. This one is also a must boof (Land Flat) otherwise the falls will eat you alive... Other than that, its Super Clean!

Looking back up the endless Garden of Rocks... Was fun!

Next we did the Lower Cheakamus which is not run very much. But cosidering the put-in was right where we were camping, we decided to run it. Its a great Class 5 run with a 25 footer entrance falls with a class 5 gorge afterwards.

We got video of this drop, so no photos of us running it... Bummer...

Scott Sea-Launching below the 1 mile log jam... Never seen soooo many logs

More Pictures of the trip will be posted soon... Some reason the blog is acting up and wont let me post some of my pics... So stay Tuned!
