I Kayak 2 Live

With the canal people pushing rocks into our play spot, which was called Area 51, there has been no play in Bend. Recently I caught wind of a new spot that someone had found. Christina and I went to check this new spot out and see if it was any good. To our suprise, the wave/hole was not to bad (We went between 600-700CFS).... It is a great little wave/hole that is both fun and good practice. I spent a good 3 hours pushing rocks in on both sides to improve the feature. With a little more work I think Area 53 will become a sweet little play spot for Bend until the Play park is built a few years down the line.
